josh,
you need a custom firmwared PSP with 3.71 M33
if you dont have a CFW PSP, do a google search, but you will need to make a Pandora Battery, and a Magic Memory Stick to flash the firmware to custom….
official firmware ( OFW ) wont work =D
to install, follow this:
How to:
1. Plug in your PSP by USB Cable
2. Hold the power switch up until power is fully off
3. hold the R button and turn the PSP back on
4. on your desktop,create a folder called ‘flash0′
5. on your computer, in a folder, go to Tools –> Folder Options… –> View
6. make sure ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ is checked and ‘Hide Protected Operating Systems’ isnt
7. on your PSP go to Advanced –> Toggle USB (flash0)
8. back on your PC, The folder that just came up, copy all of its contents into that flash0 folder you just made
9. now, in your PSP flash0 folder (not the one you made) go to vsh –> resource
10. in the theme folder, open up ‘resources’ copy and paste all the files in there into the vsh –> resource folder. re-writing all teh files that come up.
11. click back in both folders.
12. in the ‘vsh’ folder, open up ‘module’
13. in the theme folder, open up ‘module’ and copy and paste all the files and folders in there into the vsh –> module folder.
14. get out of the module folder, and out of the vsh folder.
15. now open up ‘font’
16. open up ‘font’ in your theme folder, and copy and paste all teh contents in there into your otehr font folder.
17. exit recovery menu on your PSP.
18. if done properly, you now have that theme, if not, and it just shows up with a lit up screen and the power button, you are semi-bricked
19. to fix, wait for your PSP to turn off, assuming you still haev your USB cable plugged in, hold R while turning back on.
20. go to Advanced –> Toggle USB (flash0)
21. on your computer, open up the flash0 folder you created at the start of this and copy all its contents back into the PSP’s flash0 drive re-writing any files it asks you to
.
22. your PSP is now back to normal how it was before you tried to put the theme on
if you still want it, retry steps 9 - 17
hope this helped somehow…
